David Epston
Over the course of my career, I have worked primarily with children, young people and their families. ‘Narrative Therapy in Wonderland: Connecting with Children’s Imaginative Know-how'(2016) in some ways was a sequel to Freeman, Epston and Lobovits(1997), Playful Approaches to Serious Problems: Narrative Therapy with Children and their Families’. Over this time, I never ceased to marvel at how when our conversations called upon the ‘imaginative know-how’ of children and left behind the ‘professional’, such wondrous and remarkable events took place and easily found their way to everyday reality. In fact, these travels in the imaginative exalted reality.
